What are y'all up to this weekend?

I'm sitting in a coffee shop (obvs) and willing myself to write after a long week of moving/settling in to a new house. It's strange how stiff my fingers feel, as if they are unused to attacking the keys. Apparently missing five or six days of writing really spoils me ;)

I'm planning to get some writing done tomorrow, in preparation for the Summer Story Challenge. I'm meeting with a friend to discuss recent writing projects, which should be fun and motivating, then probably quartering myself off at a table by a window to crank out some more articles. Then Sunday is going to be Father's Day, spending time with the fam!

What are y'alls plans? Getting any writing done, or do you need a break to reset?

I know it's not the weekend anymore, but since my weekends usually involves a lot of running around, afternoons and evenings during the week are more like weekends to me.

Today, I get off work early, and I am going to go chill at a coffee shop and get some writing done. It's been a while since I've had a whole afternoon free, so I am very much looking forward to it.

While I was at work over the weekend at my part-time job as a receptionist/administrative assistant, I did some more world building (that task never ends!).

    Happy Hump Day!
